Looking at the value of the classic cars and the responsability feeling and driving experience which are necessary to drive an oldtimer properly, we have some rules for the estimated drivers:

1. The driver/booker has minimum 10 years car driver’s license B (or B-E or more).
2. The driver/booker has minimum 10 years of accident free driving.
3. The driver/booker only drives himself (or herself) and fully at own risk, so damage is for the driver/booker, based on credit card security. In case of an accident, if there is another driver at the wheel of the rental car than the booker/driver, then there is no coverage from our insurance company, and the booker/driver is then still responsable for all damage, which he or she then pays himself/herself. Damage is not only defined as physical damage, but also other damage, like a turbo defect by hitting the gas pedal too early (during the warming up drive) or by failing to let the turbo cool down before turning off the engine, or interior damage by smoking in the car (which is not allowed) or stolen parts from the car (you cannot imagine, but even this happens, happily this is rare!), theft of the car, etc.
4. Risk of all damages and traffic tickets cannot be excluded nor waived: they are on your risk.
5. The driver is member of a Towing organisation (at ANWB or equivalent in Holland or abroad) and is responsable himself for towing the car to Wapserveen, in case of a car that is not driving anymore. There is always another substitute car ready in Wapserveen, with which you can continue your oldtimers experience days. Alternatively you can book an extra service at us: we can deliver another car on the place you are standing with the car that does not drive.
6. The driver/booker does a down payment of 1000 euros to secure that the car is brought back in good order and to secure payment of damage and traffic tickets for speeding, etc.
7. Only driving in the Netherlands is allowed, not internationally, due to insurance rules. Total of 500 kms free per weekend or midweek (for all cars driven in total), above that 25 eurocents per km. Tank must be filled up 100% before handing in the car back to us.
8. Payment of 50% upfront at booking (refund not possible). Rest 50% in cash at start holidays. During your stay you can upgrade to a higher category, like a marvellous Maserati, and pay in cash for the tariff difference between your original and newly chosen category.
